Mirielle did a great job getting to school, finding her desk, and meeting the other kids. All until the girl at her table sat down CRYING her eyes out. I think this is her trying to be brave face.

And how did you do? I cried like a baby after I turned to leave. Is she half day or full day? Also, Emily had a hard time adjusting. How's Kellan?
She is just going half day. No tears from me and it doesn't seem to bother Kellan having her at school. He is pretty good at just hanging out by himself. As am I! We are usually pretty busy in the mornings though so the time goes by pretty fast.
What a beautiful granddaughter we have! Just can't believe we have a grandchild in school now. I was hoping you would take some pics like that. It's fun to look back at all the pics of our kids on the front step each new school year. Kellan will be there before you know it so enjoy the precious moments. Love, Mom Schwab
